Each month brings a new theme and a thoughtfully planned way to bring it to life, from what to serve and how to style the table to the little details that make having people over feel special.

Each month, you'll receive a pretty package in the mail with:

A letter introducing the month's theme
6 printed menu cards
Printed place cards
One or two extra special details — like wine bottle labels, a little sign, favors, or something entirely unexpected
A QR code to your complete digital hosting guide

Your digital guide includes recipes, wine pairings, a simple hosting schedule, décor and styling inspiration, serving tips, printable extras, and all the little ideas we've dreamed up for the gathering.

The idea? You get to do the fun part: invite the people, set the table, and enjoy having them over.

THE MAIN DETAILS — $10/month

Each month, you'll receive beautiful mail worth looking forward to, including:

A letter introducing the month's theme
Printed recipes
Printed wine pairings
A QR code to your complete digital hosting guide

You'll still have access to the recipes, hosting schedule, décor and styling inspiration, serving tips, printables, and other digital extras, just without the ready-to-use menu cards, place cards, and special table details included in The Full Details.

Questions About The Subscription

The Main Details ($10/month) gives you the plan and inspiration. You'll receive your monthly letter, printed recipes and wine pairings, plus access to the complete digital collection with the hosting schedule, styling and serving ideas, printables, and more.
It's perfect if your biggest hosting hurdle is simply figuring out what to make, what goes together, and how to pull it all off without overthinking it.
The Full Details ($16/month) includes all of that (sometimes printed, sometimes digital, to keep the envelopes under the weight limit) plus 6 printed menu cards, place cards, and one or two extra themed details for your table.
Those physical pieces are a big part of the fun. Think of them as your décor: you don't need themed plates, new linens, or a house full of decorations. Put a special menu at each place, add the month's little details, and suddenly a table you already own feels like it belongs to the gathering.
And these aren't necessarily things I'd expect you to make at home. Menus might be laminated, folded, layered, cut into unusual shapes, printed on specialty cardstock, or made using tools like a Cricut. They're designed to feel like the sort of little detail you could spend an afternoon figuring out how to make yourself...but thankfully don't have to.
No waiting around for next month! When you first subscribe, we'll send you the current month's Details as soon as possible so you can start planning your next gathering right away.
After that, you'll join our regular mailing schedule, with new Details shipping around the 7th of each month.
If you join toward the very end of the month (after the 25th), we'll start your subscription with the following month's Details instead. That way, you won't receive two months — or two charges — within just a few days of each other.
Our regular monthly mailing goes out around the 7th of each month.
Because many of The Full Details pieces are printed, cut, folded, and assembled by hand, the exact ship date may vary by a day or two. We'll always do our best to get your happy mail on its way as close to the 7th as possible.
You'll be charged for your first Details when you sign up. After that, subscriptions renew on the 1st of each month.
If you subscribe after the 25th, your subscription will begin with the following month's Details instead.
Absolutely. There are no long-term commitments, and you can cancel your monthly subscription whenever you'd like.
Just cancel before your next renewal on the 1st if you don't want to receive that month's Details. Once your subscription has renewed, we'll start preparing your envelope and you'll receive that month's mailing.
And if you cancel, there are no hard feelings. Come back whenever you're ready for another reason to have people over.
The short answer: there's quite a bit happening inside those little envelopes!
The Main Details is priced similarly to (and often below) other mail clubs that send printed recipes, meal plans, and hosting inspiration.
The Full Details is a little different. You're getting six menu cards, place cards, and other physical pieces made specifically for that month's gathering. They're printed on nice cardstock and may involve specialty materials and tools like vinyl, lamination, adhesives, specialty cuts, scoring, and more.
And they're actually made by hand! I print, cut, fold, assemble, and package the menu cards and other Details myself. Some months are relatively simple; others involve quite a few steps before they're ready to arrive in your mailbox.
Those materials are also heavier (and sometimes larger) than the paper typically sent by a traditional mail club, which means they cost more to make and mail.
One way I like to think about it: $16 divided among six people around your table is less than $3 per person. For the plan, inspiration, printed pieces, and an excuse to get everyone together, we think that's a pretty good deal.

Questions About Using Details

The menus are designed to work for as many people around the table as possible, so the recipes are vegetarian by default. When it makes sense, I'll include easy ways to add meat for those who want it.
The goal isn't necessarily to make you think, "I'm cooking a vegetarian meal!" — it's simply to create really good menus that are easier to serve to a table full of people with different preferences.
Details is created with wine-and-cocktail drinkers in mind, so you'll often find wine pairings and the occasional themed cocktail included with the month's gathering.
When there's a cocktail, I try to include a mocktail version whenever possible. And, of course, the wine pairing is always just an idea — never a requirement. Everything should work just as well with sparkling water, your favorite NA bottle, or whatever you and your guests like to drink.

Details is meant to make hosting easier, not give you another set of rules to follow. Whenever possible, I'll include substitutions and ideas for changing recipes based on preference, dietary needs, ingredient availability, or simply what sounds good to you.
That's also why the printed menus are intentionally a little vague. Instead of listing every ingredient or overly specific preparation, they're designed to give you room to make the meal your own without your menu card suddenly being "wrong."
Use the plan as written, change one thing, change half of it — the Details are there to give you a starting point.
Please do! Six is just the number of physical menu cards and place cards included with The Full Details — not a limit on your guest list.
You'll also receive access to the printable files, so you're welcome to make additional pieces at home. Just keep in mind that some of the physical Details are made with specialty paper, a Cricut, lamination, folding, or other techniques that may be tricky to recreate exactly with a regular printer.
You can also get creative with the six you have. Make the two end seats different, alternate special menus with simpler place settings, put menus between guests to share, or use the printed pieces elsewhere on the table or as invitations to get guests excited. A table for eight or ten doesn't need eight or ten identical everything to feel intentional.
And if you know you have a gathering coming up where you really want 12 complete place settings, you can always order an extra Full Details for that month to receive a second set, then just remember to cancel it after!
Definitely not. That's actually part of the point.
Details is designed around the idea that a few thoughtful things can completely change how a gathering feels. Use your regular plates. Keep the tablecloth you already own. Borrow the wine glasses. Pick up flowers at the grocery store. We'll give you inspirations and suggestions to help you decorate without spending much money or buying new decor.
The menus, place cards, food, and little monthly Details do the work of making it feel like an occasion.
You don't need to become a different kind of host. You just need a reason to have people over.
Go for it! Details is designed so you can keep things simple, but we'll also give you plenty of inspiration if you want to take the theme further.
We'll often include mood boards, affordable décor ideas, styling inspiration, and simple ways to make your space feel special without buying a whole new collection of things. And when a theme lends itself to going bigger, we'll share ideas for things like signage, backdrops, florals, serving displays, invitations, and other details you can add if you're feeling ambitious.
Think of each month's Details as a starting point. You can use exactly what comes in the envelope and call it a day, add a few flowers and candles, or run with the idea and turn it into a whole event. It's entirely up to you.
It varies from month to month, but keeping gatherings approachable and affordable is always part of the planning.
We try to build menus around accessible ingredients, simple preparation, and décor ideas that don't require you to buy a bunch of things you'll never use again. We'll also suggest substitutions and lower-cost options whenever we can.
That doesn't mean every recipe will always be the absolute cheapest option. Sometimes we might suggest an ingredient or dish that's a little more expensive because it saves you a ton of time in the kitchen. Other times, it's there because it's just really, really good — or because the finished dish is so beautiful that it practically doubles as décor on the table.
It's all a bit of a trade-off: if we're asking you to spend a little more somewhere, we want it to earn its place by saving you time, making the meal feel more special, or scoring you some serious hostess points.
And remember: these are ideas, not rules. Skip something, swap an ingredient, use the plates you already own, buy grocery-store flowers, or decide the menu cards are all the décor you need. The goal is to make having people over feel more doable, not more expensive.

We don't put the Details logo, branding, or any other little giveaway on the pieces that go on your table. And because everything is actually made by hand, there's nothing about your menus, place cards, or other Details that screams "subscription." As far as your guests know, you made it all yourself.
So yes, you get all the credit.
And even if your friends do discover your secret? You're still the one who invited everyone over, cooked the food, set the table, and brought the whole thing to life. We just helped with some of the Details.
Basically, prepare to become the hostess with the mostest of your friend group. We won't tell them how you did it.
